Drained

I worked all Saturday, but it was a good day--if long.

I did nothing all day yesterday and it was a good day--if long.

Today started out good: brunch with a friend, necessary errands and then home to walk the dogs.

We were attacked by an unleashed stray and he seized Benchley shaking the living daylights out of him twice, before the owner showed up and just as quickly disappeared with his dog leaving me screaming leaving my dog screaming...

We weren't far from home, my neighbor got us to the vet and we got him in.

We're lucky, other than a small laceration, he appears to be okay. The xray checked out just fine. I've left him over night for observation, fluids and pain medication.

I'm still shaking from this. What a nightmare.

I'm just glad my little boy dog is okay.
