Holiday Fruits of my Labours...
And yah! I'm done (well except for the cleaning up part) and no missing digits in the process. I don't think I even shed any blood in sacrifice to the DIY god(dess)s.
I'll place the photos behind a cut only because there is 5 of them, and if you are low-bandwidth, I don't want you to struggle too much.
My newly finished hall tree. I only had to build, un-build and re-build the right way around--oh about HALF of it. And yes, I was reading the instructions. :P
See, a very useful piece of hardwood furniture!
my paper lanterns choose today to go out. Probably a bulb needs replacing. I'll have to do that tomorrow sometime.
A close up of decorations that would normally go on my tree--if I put one up. This year small pressies can sit on the mantel and bigger presents on the chinese wood bench that sits beneath my mantel.
And...while all this is going on, outside I see the dying sun of a lovely, lovely day.
