I read the news today, oh boy....

Dollar Tree is apparently vying for the stunning accolade of corporate fuckwit of the year. Giving Wal*Mart a run for its money.

The 11-year-old son of a Fairfield woman who was stabbed to death at her retail clerk's job is being denied his mother's workers' compensation death benefits by the store's insurance company.

The reason? The firm says the woman was killed because of her race, not her job.

I don't think the courts will let this one stand. There may be a settlement before it can get to the court, however. I hope not--because we need a legal smack down to set precedence so such racial fuckwittery doesn't happen again.
