Career Day or What do you want to be when you grow up, Bambi?

I was perusing the San Francisco Chronicle last night when I stumbled upon this article about a popular motivational speaker and Career Day presenter in Palo Alto, California.

My question is, why wasn't I told about these amazing opportunties? All I got at our career day was a job fair in the cafeteria, completely with all four branches of the military and the KKK.
