It's coming together...
Oct. 1st, 2005 04:26 pmthe house, I mean--not necessarily my life.
Today I made myself get my butt into gear early and headed down to the world market by Jack London Square. I have candles glowing on my mantelpiece again, bright cottons and silks on my new chaise lounge, paper lanterns strung across picture rails, providing soft light in the gathering gloom of my little cottage by the bay.
The fog has returned and with it humidity and cooler temperatures.
The dork dog is sprawled on my bed, her head on my pillow.
I think I'll join her, I need a nap.
It's peaceful here while just a half mile up the road UC Berkeley's homecoming game gets underway.
Still lots of cleaning and putting away to do, but first...that nap.
