A gray day

A gray, uninspiring day. Today's apartment view was an uninspiring 70s concrete eye sore. So, now I'm home, mildly depressed. I'm going to make more coffee, put on some loud music and just start sorting. At least I know that I can enjoy indian food and laughter this later afternoon. I'm going to a wedding reception for my engineer and his wife, who got married earlier in the month.

Things I learned today:

I own an umbrella that holds astounding capabilities.

You put the umbrella up and the sky clears. You take it down again and the heavens open up and pour.

Up...down...up...down...

I gave up finally and just left it up and open, no matter how light the sky. I was dressed for a party and I didn't want to arrive to a wedding reception looking like a bedraggled rat!
