Bay Area Transit begins to Grow UP
Sep. 18th, 2007 11:45 amToday I ordered my new Trans-link smart card.
Right off the bat it saves me $60.00 a year in transit costs just for the commute to work on the bus. Once they bring CalTrain, MUNI, and BART on board in the Spring it'll save me even more. The biggest pain here is how the separate transit agencies: bus, train, BART, and Ferry all use different fees and schedules and you have to take along enough singles to look like you've been dancing on tables, or juggle multiple passes that are never fully utilized for their value.
