New Political Lows?

As I read the news and listen to the diarrhea of the mouth that spews from 527s and campaign spokes persons my blood pressure goes up, my head begins to rotate on my shoulders as my eyes roll into the back of my head. Every major national election I bemoan how low and common the attack ads get. I do have the perspective that each election is worse than the last one.

So I was quite amused to see Cracked.Com ran an article on where Political mud slinging, misleading ads, statements, and out right LYING began. Seriously, it's worth a read to the very end. 5 Presidential Elections even DUMBER than this one, somehow.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I learned a lot about our political campaign history. The stuff they DON'T teach you in school.
