SHE'S BACK!

aamusedinatxHer name is Lucy. She's 53 years old. She has emphysema and tried to sneak a cigarette. She still has a hard time with that addiction. Of course this didn't help her breathing any and she landed in the hospital. She just got home today.
"you're back!" I practically squealed when Dottie and I walked by just now and saw the blinds open once again. I introduced myself and she wrote down my name. She also introduced me to Riley her black and white tuxedo kitty and I held Dottie up in my arms so she could touch her through the screen and coo over her. She is pretty much alone, but she had a friend come over and care for Riley while she was in the hospital. That's good to know. She's not totally isolated and so I stopped short of giving her my phone number. I did promise to see her again soon. Her birthday is April 4th. This weekend, I'll get a batch of scones whipped up and bring them over.
