aamusedinatxHere we are again. Returned to work after a four day weekend. I needed that weekend, very badly. And I used the time to restore some sense of equalibrium within.
It's humid today, cool but humid and I notice we're expecting thunderstorms again today. I wonder if we'll actually get it this time. It skirted around us last week and Berkeley never saw a drop of rain. Regardless I brought neither rain jacket or umbrella because I am in denial. Yes, it is a river in Egypt and also my mental state on a Monday morning with regards to weather. If I get soaked on the way home...it's my problem, I fully realize.
It's quiet here, and surprisingly peaceful for 8am on a Monday. I wonder how long that will last?
We shall see.
The bright spot of today: my chaise lounge arrives this evening and for the first time in nearly 2 months my living room will have furniture again! As much as I enjoy my new bed, I'm getting tired sitting on it all the time. The view never changes, I'd much rather LIVE througout my cottage, not huddle in one room. Tonight, I'll be able to kick back, stretch out, and do exactly that.
