When I went to bed last night half were passing or neck to neck, but that was with less than 20% of counties reported in.

I woke to the joyous news that our very expensive SHAM election for "Strong Governor" had failed, in some cases by an strong margin!

My faith is restored. Last night, as I was talking with the Engima before bed, I was becoming very depressed and cynical about politics in general. This morning I am feeling elated about the state of politics in this State.

Each and every proposition, with the POSSIBLE exception of Prop 79 (the only one I voted yes for) was expensive, poorly written, self serving for our Governor who is pissed he can't be President, was dishonest, and if you took the time to actually read the legal jargon crammed into the prob, most were riddled with loopholes and carried riders for other things unnecessary and bad.

To the Gropenator...

YOU FAILED. Big time.
