Unsavory Downturn Result

Mauser electronics in Texas no longer packs Jolly Rancher candies into their boxes of electronic thing-a-ma-jiggies, which my engineer has a habit of ordering. The last few boxes have contained nothing more than an unappealing piece of red and white striped candy and a piece of double bubble.

I settled on the double bubble after much grumping and harumphing. I used to love bubble gum as a kid. Now I find it's like chewing garden slugs that have been dipped in pepto bismal.

I bet pirates in Somalia get jolly ranchers.

But I'm not gloating. What I am doing is remembering why I want to hunt up the remains of Madeline Murray O'Hair and kick her squarely in the nuts ovaries. Since I blame HER for the rise of--the politicization of the moral majority in the first place.

I have NO PROBLEM at all with faith based organizations doing local ministry, education and community outreach. I have a SERIOUS problem with them legislating it.
