An end of a day

aamusedinatxI made it through work without falling asleep at my desk--I wasn't sure that was possible.
Dork doggie was excited to see me tonight and we got a quick walkie in JUST before the cold rain/sleet mixture came on yet again.
Frankenkitty is apparently over her little snit with me. Okay so she was much more eager to have Doctor Lust pick her up than me, but she's no longer sitting with her back to me. Today she got 'friended' by a group on catster called "Terrific Tabbies" and so she made her very first post to the group to complain about her wicked ol mommy who went off and left her and her plan for world domination, one sofa pillow at a time.
My apartment is WARM!!! Compared to my old cottage, which, when I walked in there today afterwork to get that last little bit of stuff was ice cold.
I'm so tired I can barely think straight, but since it's Friday night I'm not sure the boys living upstairs will be sympathetic to my plight and allow me the quiet to sleep. Then again, given my level of tired, I may just pass out and not even notice they're there. Where did I pack those ear plugs anyway?
Before I can even contemplate a snooze I have some things I must do like clean the litter box and check food and water levels.
If I'm not back tonight, you'll know I'm dead to the world, to be resurrected sometime tomorrow morning, snow or no snow!
