This week I would like to introduce:

[livejournal.com profile] saladbar. She arrived via another friend. She is energetic, savvy, droll, sarcastic, intelligent, unapologetic: everything I love in a woman. I'm very pleased she agreed to friend me. I find her views on life from profound to mundane events very refreshing. Like me she took several roads in life to arrive where she is now. She has a menagerie of interesting pets, kids, friends and family all of which add to her tales of living in the moment.

[livejournal.com profile] lifehiker. I know this guy in real life. I have known him for three, going on four years now. There seems no end to my astonishment at the depth of his empathy and intelligence. He's a wonderful addition to my life and my belief that online to offline friendships do indeed happen in very positive ways.

[livejournal.com profile] tfcocs. I mentioned the Reverend Xena Kaboom earlier this week. One of the great un-apologetics. She's a bitch first and foremost. An intelligent, funny, snarky, grown-up-about-it Bitch. I want to be her when I grow up. At worst I hope to offer myself up as an "altar girl" at the First Church of Common Sense.

[livejournal.com profile] symian. I wish I could say "I know him well." I don't. However, what I do know of him reveals a subtly-yet-outrageously funny fellow with a good eye, not only for photography of abandoned buildings and regional geography, but for the unique foibles of his fellow human beings. I really, really enjoy reading his posts and they always put a smile on my face that I wind up carrying around with me through the day. Oh and his bad poetry is really bad. Don't say I didn't warn ya!
