I will have to keep reminding myself
May. 30th, 2006 07:48 amThat it's Tuesday already. Three day weekends really do screw with my calendar. Ah well, the weekend was totally worth it and for once I didn't find myself sitting there bored out of my skull feeling like the weekend is a day and a half too long. That's what typically happens on 3 day weekends for me. I really need to learn to relax. Sheesh.
Catching up on news and views while I sip coffee and wait for my brain to wake up. It's really amazing to me how I manage to get from home to work on auto pilot each morning. After all these years of faking a morning person you would think I'd allow myself enough time to get coffee at home before I step out the door. But nooooooo. I suddenly arrive at my office door with only the most vague recollection of the journey between two points. I disarm the alarm, usually on the first try, and stagger straight for the coffee pot.
Coffeee........ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....dark brown goodness. Elixir of the Gods!
Speaking of which, I'm going to go have some more.
Meanwhile, oooohhh, the irony.
