Hump Day for the Blind
Jun. 21st, 2006 08:50 amWell, having the Good Doctor over for some play and some cuddling was a real balm to my nerves yesterday. It doesn't resolve my problems with pseudo-ex but it disbursed any residual physical tension that might otherwise have tripped me over into a migraine.
Speaking of migraines, I have an eye appointment this afternoon with the UCB Opthamology group. I'm oddly apprehensive about this afternoon because I'm having my eyes dilated for the first time in a decade. I don't remember what that feels like or 'looks' like from inside my head and so it is an unknown element and I'm--well--apprehensive. Silly, I know. Sue me.
My DVD of Serenity and the Firefly series arrived from Amazon. Tonight is drinks and Firefly with Dr Strangelove. Neither of us got to see the whole series at it got jerked around on Fox and SciFi channel while it was still on the air. So our next few weeks of 'night out' will be night in with dvds and whiskey!
Oh and for the record pigtails...are not a comfortable way to wear your hair! I never knew :) I always had short hair as a little kid.
