There may be nightmares ahead

but at least today we put an end to one 8-year long nightmare.

I've been watching inaugurations since 1968. I've never cried during one before.

Until today.

I'm relieved and proud.

But there is oh so much work to do and oh so much focus and bravery we need to keep hold of.
