Thank god for today. It has been a day of recovery.
I overdosed yesterday on heat, sunshine, bad wine, great sake, a lot of laughter, mojitos and in general just a very loooooooooooooooooooooong day!
I swear I feel like I slept all day today. I didn't but it feels like it. I can also tell I won't have ANY problem sleeping all night tonight.
The sunburn has gone down. I was rather red yesterday even after slathering myself with SPF 30. I live for Aloe in the fridge.
It was fun to spend more time with PPG and to introduce him to some more friends before he headed back to New York.
At 11pm I arrived at Oakland airport to pick up the Mad Scientist. He had a fabulous time in Guatamala. The Kitten with a Whip doesn't get back until the 21st (I think). However, MS came back with big news. They are now engaged. Congrats to them!!!!!
Today was much cooler than yesterday but yesterday was a golden day that can't be replaced for a number of reason.
