Now THAT was a Fabulous Time
Mar. 26th, 2006 02:21 pmDerby Downs has now been officially "host" of a gathering of lovely friends. It is so nice to have the space with which to do so; my cottage was always too small.
Brunch was fabulous and I got to watch the Mad Scientist make Crepes in his wok. We all ate more than was probably good for us, but it was all good healthy food. I have plenty of left-overs for lunch and dinner through the week as well as breakfast to take to work too! Sadly, the MS had to bonk off for a 3pm flight to PDX and so no debauchery for dessert. Next on our agenda, he's coming over to make home-made Mexican food and I'm making Cuban mojitos. We'll add in some human beings for dessert that evening :)
Now, I have a couple coming to look at the queen futon mattress I put on Craig's list. Once they've been here and gone, maybe I can get a nap in.
